ONLINE SAFETY
Our school takes your child’s online safety seriously. The Children's Internet Protection Act (CIPA) requires that K-12 schools and libraries use internet filters and implement other measures to protect children from harmful online content.Vista Unified has been using the Hāpara Instructional Suite to assist with this requirement. Please click on the links below for more information.
CDPH and COVID-19 UPDATES
We are happy to announce that we are in full compliance with the new California Department of Public Health (CDPH) and COVID-19 guidelines. One hundred percent of our classic classrooms have successfully social distanced students with 4 feet or more, with many classes having 6 feet or more of distance between students. This of course is in addition to all the health and safety mitigation measures we already have in place, like having stable groups, adding air purifiers in all classrooms, putting plastic shields on all desks, windows and doors remain open all day, and all students and staff wear masks all day, except when eating. You can find the latest information on our website under COVID SAFETY PLAN, please click here https://www.bh.vistausd.org/.
SCHOOL ACCOUNTABILITY REPORT CARD (SARC)
Also, our 2019 School Accountability Report Card (SARC) is now available on the district website. Please click here https://www.vistausd.org/our_schools and it is also published on the California Department of Education (CDE) website under Find a SARC, click here https://www.sarconline.org/.
You can print out a copy by clicking on the links provided above or you can email me your request and we will send you a copy via email.
RECESS RACERS
We will let you know as soon as we receive the bracelets.
RAINY DAY MINIMUM DAY SCHEDULE
Please remember that you will be notified when we will pivot to RAINY DAY MINIMUM SCHEDULE 48 hours in advance if there is 30% chance of rain in the weather forecast.
That is all for now! Stay healthy and safe!
