MS. BLACKWELL - Star of Excellence and Innovation

Vista's STARS of Excellence and Innovation is a commendation program that recognizes employees who have gone above and beyond their duties. This month we are recognizing Ms. Laura Blackwell, 2nd Grade Classic Teacher.

Ms. Laura is a phenomenal teacher who takes the time to build great relationships with her students while still holding them to high standards. Her lessons are engaging and fun. She goes above and beyond to provide students with additional support outside of school. At school, she hoists the flag every morning and afternoon. She also creates and maintains the Safety Duty Schedule. She is revered as a teacher leader by her colleagues and is well-respected by everyone on campus. She comes to school with a smile every day and after a long day of work, leaves the school with the same smile and uplifting demeanor. She lifts others when they are down and is always willing to lend a helping hand. She is an exemplary STAR of Excellence and Innovation and I feel honored to have her as a teacher at Breeze Hill Elementary.
