Teeth
Voice Modulation
Teeth are very important in the production of speech
The term "dental" is used to refer to sounds whose point of articulation is on or at the teeth.
Your teeth, tongue, and lips are used in conjunction in the making of sounds.
The lip and teeth are used together to make labiodental sounds F and V using the lower lip and teeth. Another class of sounds made between the teeth (interdental) is produced with the tongue tip between the upper and lower front teeth, as the upper surface of the tongue tip rests lightly on the biting edge of the upper front teeth. this class of sounds also is called the tongue/teeth (linguadental) sounds since both the tongue and teeth are involved in articulation.this class includes the voiced "th" sound in "that" and "feather" and the voiceless "th" sound in"think" and "myth".
