WORDS FROM OUR PRINCIPAL
Thank you to all who purchased Wasatch Savings books this year. We kept this fundraiser low key because of life’s circumstances, but we still received a fair amount of money after the company got their share. We have approximately $4500.00 to use to supplement supplies and materials in our classrooms.
Thanks to all who have voted and continue to vote in the Just Right Cares Contest. It looks like Heritage is crushing it which is really fun! We really appreciate your help! (https://www.justrightair.com/cares)
Have a safe and healthy weekend.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED - HEARING SCREENINGS
On November 16th and 17th we will be having the hearing screenings. We are in need of a few volunteers to help walk classes to be tested. Please sign up if you are able to help! We love our volunteers!
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED - RED RIBBON WEEK
Find your "new normal" by volunteering to be on the Red Ribbon Week Committee! Wendy Gladden is our amazing committee chair and she could use some help! Red Ribbon Week will be held Nov. 30-Dec. 4. If you would be willing to be on the Red Ribbon Week Committee, please sign up by clicking on the link below.
If you aren't able to be on the committee, but would like to help with lunch activities during Red Ribbon Week watch for another signup in the next few weeks. Thank you!
MASKS, MASKS & MORE MASKS!
We had a large donation of masks from a few people in the community but they are almost gone. Each day students are showing up without a mask and students are coming in after recesses saying they lost their mask. We are averaging 15-20 extra masks each day. Once our supply runs out, students will need to call home for a new mask to be delivered to the school. It will be easier for you and us if you have an extra mask in each backpack.
Having said that, we are taking donations of masks :) They must be in new condition.
BOOK FAIR - Nov. 2nd - 15th
Studies show that practicing gratitude makes you happier (Scholastic & Psych Blog). “Instilling this sense of appreciation in children when they are young will help them live happier, healthier lives and give them a more positive attitude.” (bestow.com)
Ideas: Make a gratitude jar. Add to it daily.
