IMPORTANT DATES

The Bay View Variety Show will be Tuesday, April 25. We will have a variety of performance opportunities throughout the evening. The Variety Show will include a combination of a Visual Arts Gallery Walk as you stroll around our brand new commons space while enjoying student art work and hearing small group or solos performed in a casual environment. The larger pieces and groups with more of a dance, rock, gymnastics, comedy flair will have a performance on stage following the gallery walk.

Students who wish to perform must submit a performance ready video to the Variety Show Schoology group album no later than NOON April 13. DIGI KNOW ...

Digi Know: iPad Care and Maintenance

Every tool needs care and maintenance, and our iPads are one of our key learning tools. As we are now just over mid-way through the year, now is the perfect time to complete the following iPad maintenance tasks:

1. Check your iPad storage by going to Settings > General > iPad Storage. If you have less than 10 GB of storage, itʻs a great time to clean up. Delete unused videos and photos from your Camera Roll and delete unused Apps.

2. Check your iPad iOS version All students should be on 15.7. This notice was sent out via student announcements and the Bay View Buzz this past fall. In the LMC, we have noticed that most of the students who come in with issues have outdated iOS. To check your version go to Settings > General > About. If your iOS is under 15.7, go to Settings > General > Software Update and select "Download and Install" underneath 15.7.1.

3. Check your iPad case and screen. If your case or screen is dirty, you can come to the LMC and get it cleaned. If you clean it at home, donʻt use any harsh cleaners and never spray cleaner directly on the device. Spray it on a towel and then wipe the dirty area. Remember to never draw or write on your case, but you can put stickers on the outside of your case.

If we take good care of our tools, they work better and it decreases the chance of glitches and errors. Putting a bit of time into these three steps is a great demonstration of the Grad Profile trait "Responsibility", and saves us time in the long run by keeping our key learning tool in good condition.
