BUILDING CHAMPIONS with STRONG hearts and STRONG minds!

Mission Statement

At Springhill Elementary we promise to value each other in a safe and encouraging learning environment that supports a growth mindset for all students, staff, and community to achieve success.

'Tis the Season

We have reached a time of year full of change. Leaves have turned and are beginning to fall. The air is cooler. Rain is frequent. We love to see how much our students grow and change this time of year, too! So much good instruction happens in this season and we are excited to see the lasting benefits of the next few months for our students. We are wishing good health for all of our Springhill families and hoping our students are here participating in the learning every second possible! We are grateful for the gift of having your children here at our school. Thank you for sharing them with us.

We Love Celebrating Students!

Announcements

  • Please remember: morning car drop off begins at 7:30 a.m. and PROWL begins at 7:50 SHARP! This time of the day is so important to ensure students are receiving the interventions or enrichment they need to grow!

  • Car rider pick up is from 3:20-3:40. Please remember to have your tag hanging from your mirror to help us keep things running quickly.

  • We encourage you to come eat lunch with your child. There are some new options in the cafeteria on Wednesdays and Thursdays in addition to the regular lunch that we are so excited about! On Wednesdays, students have a salad bar option. On Thursdays they have a sandwich option. Come check it out!

AMI Days

Greenbrier School District has been approved for Alternate Methods of Instruction days in the case of inclement weather or other emergency circumstances. If this is ever the case as we enter the winter months, parents/guardians will be notified through our eNotes phone call and email, as well as through the district/school websites and social media. Google classroom and apps through student gmail accounts will be the main method of accessing student packets, and any students without internet access will receive AMI packets in hard copy. AMI days will allow for Greenbrier School District to maintain the timing of student learning throughout the year rather than adding additional days to the school calendar in May.
