From atop the brand new learning stairs at North Branch Area High School, we cordially invite you to attend a Grand Opening Celebration on Friday, Sept. 6, from 4-6 p.m. We can't wait to show you how much your schools have been transformed so far (with still another summer to go)!

The Sunrise River School, middle school, and high school will all be available to tour. There will be a time capsule dedication at 5 p.m. at the new high school fitness center (it's amazing!), raffles at each site, treats by culinary students, donated free food, and more!

We toured our facilities yesterday and were blown away by the improvements. What your support and the work of school staff, Kraus Anderson, ATS&R, and all those who have contributed to these projects, has accomplished in our schools so far is nothing short of stunning!

Please consider joining us for this special event and thank you, again and again, for your support!

Did You Know?

Construction reminder from North Branch: There is much construction happening in North Branch, and a great deal of it is happening right around the school district. The city would like you to be aware of the projects and encourages students to avoid these areas. See the city's letter here.

K-12 tax benefits: As you prepare for the 2019-20 school year, the State of Minnesota would like you to be aware of two state programs: the Minnesota K-12 Education Credit and Subtraction. Many families do not know about, or take advantage of, these valuable tax benefits. Most Minnesota parents qualify for the K-12 Education Subtraction, which reduces their taxable income. Parents may also qualify for the K-12 Education Credit under certain income limits. Click here to learn more!

Workforce development scholarships: Minnesota has an amazing opportunity for students who enter one of its two-year public colleges this fall for the first time: If you study any of six “high job demand” areas, the state will pay half of selected students’ tuition and fees at the public two-year college ($5,000).
