Thank you Grove City HS!

A HUGE thank you to Grove City High School for hosting this year's Super Saturday. Their student council worked incredibly hard to put together this event from start to finish. When asked about the day, Alaina Murphy, a Grove City student council member said "my absolute favorite part was seeing all of these people get together for one day to better themselves not only as leaders, but as people as well." It's thanks to council members like Alaina that OASC events are so impactful and memorable!

Looking forward: Fall Retreat

What OASC Means To Me: Shirley Yang, State Board President

Student council has always been an essential part of my life. Since middle school, I fell in love with the idea of working towards something much bigger than myself. OASC was student council on a whole new level. It was like beating the underling boss just to meet the Final Boss head on. Like a video game, it threw you into a completely new playing field with completely new players. You stumbled and fumbled around for a while, struggling to even figure out where you were and who you were. Until you started embarking on journeys and completing quests, you were just another character in the game. OASC changed me, and hopefully all of you, into the main leads of our own journeys. You discovered what your power was, and how to utilize it to not only benefit yourself, but those around you. Suddenly, the game was no longer just one story, but the stories of thousands of players tangled together. That was the impact of OASC to me. It transported me from this single-track daily walk to a never-ending adventure. So, join the game, create your own player, and take the first step into your story line.
