6th Grade Shout Outs for Yearbook
If you would like to recognize your Sixth Grader’s accomplishments —place your child's picture (a current or baby picture) in the school yearbook, along with a note of congratulations! Please return this completed form, picture, and check no later Thursday, February 22, 2018. Pictures need to be in a .JPG format only and should be forwarded to Ms. Dale Scalea at dscalea@ojrsd.com, with your child’s name and 2018 Shout Out in the message line.

We will be honoring Dr. Seuss’ birthday during the week of February 26th-March 2nd. In addition to the exciting activities that are planned, students are invited to participate in a Book Swap on Thursday and Friday, March 1st and 2nd. Volunteers Needed for 24 Tournament
Our annual French Creek 24 tournament will be held on Tuesday, March 27th. Mrs. Hess, our 24 advisor is in need of a number of volunteers that day. You don't have to be a mathematician to proctor the game!!! The children are the mathematicians, you just need to confirm if their answer if right or wrong. Attached is information about the game 24.
The tournament times are:
5th grade- 8:45-10:15
4th grade-10:30-12:00
6th grade- 12:45-2:15

OJR Education Foundation Consignment Sale
Best Little Buddies Club
We are pleased to introduce a new club at French Creek for our students who participate in the Autistic Support and Life Skills programs. OJR Best Buddies Club from the High school will visit French Creek once a month to mentor and assist our students with special projects. Club members recently had their first meeting and students, along with their buddies, created Valentine's Day cards for local senior citizens.
