BHS Librarian Dr. Costa - official Book Reviewer for Multicultural Book Day!

Read Dr. Costa's review of the book When Will Papa Get Home? by author Larada Horner-Miller and learn about the journey of a Mexican-American family as they face the challenges of a life in a new land, how they persevered against injustice, and the power of family love.

"When Will Papa Get Home is truly a multicultural gem giving our student readers a window into the difficulty and challenges overcome by diverse peoples, an appreciation for their unique cultures, and a deep respect for the amazing perseverance people have faced coming to a new country, learning a new language, and ultimately prospering with hope and love in their new American home." - Dr. Suzanne Costa
