Bald Eagles

What they eat:
A bald eagle will eat fish, carrion, smaller birds, rodents, large birds, large fish,and dead meat. They will steal from other birds.
Where they live:
They live near big lakes. In the winter they go to unfrozen lakes. They love water habitats.
How big are they:
Bald eagles are 2 1/2 - 3 feet tall and have a wingspan of about 6 1/2 feet.
Interesting facts:
- Females are bigger than the males!
- The bald eagle is the most recognized bird in the U.S.A!
