A Note From the Teacher

We have had another wonderful but busy week together! We were so happy to see the children on Monday. I hope everyone fared well with the hurricane. Its hard to believe that it was a year ago this week, that we were experiencing the flood. Please let us know if you were affected and need assistance. Our Mustang family always takes care of each other.

We indeed have had so much fun this week. On Thursday, we had a visit from the Tooth Fairy. She reminded the children to brush well each night and to only wiggle their teeth with clean hands! She also gave each child a bag of goodies to help take care of his/her teeth! Thank you Tooth Fairy!

Today we were so excited about "Vehicle Day", which ended our unit on Community Helpers. We were able to see a police car and animal control vehicle from the West Columbia Police Department, a police truck from Lexington County Sheriff's Department, a fire truck from Lexington County Fire Department, and a tow truck from Wingard's Towing Co. We will be sending out thank you cards to all of our community helpers.

I look forward to another great week together. Thank you for sharing your child with us! Have a great weekend!

Class Directory Reminder

If you have not already done so, please return the classroom directory form that was placed in your child's yellow folder. If you do not wish to have your child's information listed, please denote that on the form and return it to school on Monday. Thank you for your help.

Mustang of The Week

Our Mustang of the Week this week is Jason. Jason really loves Monster trucks, fortune cookies, football, and the color blue. Way to go Jason!

We look forward to meeting our new Mustang of the Week next week.
