Mora Schools recently met to discuss planning for the 2020-21 school year. The group consisted of staff that covers all aspects of a “typical” student day: teachers, health office, food service, transportation, support, etc. The school district discussed a wide range of scenarios that are being discussed at the state and national levels. Student and staff safety was a priority in all of our conversations.

The state of Minnesota is expected to share guidelines for returning to school between July 27-30th. We have been tasked to plan for three different possible options: traditional, hybrid, and distance learning. When those guidelines are released, we will meet again to finalize the best possible plan with the Mora community. We have learned a tremendous amount through conversations with parents and survey feedback, and we are confident that we will have a great plan for returning to school.
