BOYS & GIRLS STATE APPLICATIONS - DUE MARCH 8
The program is weeklong in the summer and involves a mock Virginia Government and learning more about how the government works.
The application is available on Post 290 website:
The Girls State will be virtual only, about four hours each day and the delegates must answer roll call
each day. The final status on Boys State will not be known until sometime in April. It may be part on
campus and part virtual.
If you have questions, Mrs. Henderson is the contact at CFHS.
Air Force Academy Application
Academy Day 2021
Senator Mark Warner invites high school and middle school students, their parents or guardians, and school counselors to Academy Day 2021.
Attendees will be provided with a comprehensive overview of the United States service academies and their admission processes. You will hear from all five academies as well as representatives from the Department of Defense Medical Examination Review Board, the University of Virginia ROTC programs, the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets, the Virginia Military Institute, and the Virginia Women’s Institute for Leadership at Mary Baldwin University. Representatives from Virginia congressional offices will also share information about the application procedures for congressional nominations.
