Formation of Old Faithful

Old Faithful was formed about one hundred years ago because there are cracks in the crust that snow and rain can get into. When the water goes deeper in the crust the water will get hotter. And when water gets hot it gets bigger in size. this will create pressure that makes the water go up through the cracks in the crust.
