Impact on the american revolution
When the Revolutionary War broke out Washington inspired Marshall to join the military
so that he could take part in forming the new nation.
Government roles
Marshall began his career in law by representing Fauguier county in the general assembly
for a single term. In 1782 Marshall joined the Virginia house of delegates representing Enrico county. In 1830 Marshall joined the Supreme Court and died in 1835.
