Young Men of Newark Vocational - Mentoring Progam Feb. 22, 2014

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority is sponsoring an EMBODI Program that provides young males with a mentor. The program is held the 4 Saturday of the month at Central HS. The next meeting is on February 22, 2014 from 10am -12pm. See Ms. Wormley for details.

Sophomore Advisory - Ms. Morin Room 220

All sophomores must register for school next year by February 28, 2014. You may receive assistance from your Class Advisor. Help is available this Thursday, February 13th from 2:50-4:00pm.

Community Service @ the "Student Center"

Students who would like to get community service hours should see Mrs. Green, School Counselor. Hours are 4-6pm daily. Transportation is provided to and from the center and food is free!

2014 New Jersey Idea Competition

Students are given the challenge to submit an idea to a panel of judges who are experts in innovation and entrepreneurship. Students with the most innovative ideas will be awarded cash prizes and recognized at our awards ceremony on March 28th at which they can network with other creative students from throughout the state. The perks:1.
