Meet Georgia Thomas, Grayson Community College's nominee for Small Business Worman of the Year. Her poignant story will inspire you and give hope to cancer survivors. Her company, The Texas Chrystal Company, with over $1MM in annual sales, makes designer hats and the most comfortable, fashionable flip-flops you will every wear. These items will be for sale, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the Friends of the Pottsboro Library. Cost of this event is $15 per person for lunch. RSVP by June 13.

The Good News Continues

Texas Library Association (TLA) has selected our Director, Dianne Connery, as one of 20 participants throughout the U.S. for the 2016 Executive Leadership Conference, to be held in Austin, TX July 31 - Aug. 4.


The Pottsboro Area Library will be featured in an upcoming issue of THE EDGE, a national publication, for our "out of the box" technology programs/resources.

Please consider joining the Friends. Your annual dues help us keep our doors open, buy books and support all of the activities at the library. We are a 501(c)3 organization and your annual contribution is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Forms are available at the library. Business members ($150) are featured on all of our digital signage. Membership levels start at just $20 per year. Our group is looking for people who want to be involved.
