PTA Meetings

The first Monday of each month. Meetings start @ 6:30 pm. We are currently meeting virtually through Google Meet. The meeting code will be sent out via One Call, posted on the Whittier PTA Facebook page and shared on the PTA webpage- the day of the meeting. We hope you can make it!

Our next meeting is Monday December 7th @ 6:30 pm.

The PTA webpage is going through a make over, and all of these materials will be updated by Monday November 9th on the PTA webpage.

Once you join the PTA, your PTA card will be issued. PTA membership offers many discounts.

You will also receive a goody bag for each child in your family.

Why join the PTA? It says that we support the goals of the school and are working together as partners for our students.

Now that the online Book Fair is underway, we have a fun contest.

Take a look at the picture in the Google Form to guess how many pieces of candy corn are in the jar. The closest guess without going over will win a bundle of books. There will be a winner for grades pre-K through 2 and a winner for grades 3-5. National PTA's Reflections program provides opportunities for recognition and access to the arts which boost student confidence and success in the arts and in life.

Each year, over 300,000 students in Pre-K through Grade 12 create original works of art in response to a student-selected theme. This 50+ year-old program helps them explore their own thoughts, feelings and ideas, develop artistic literacy, increase confidence and find a love for learning that will help them become more successful in school and in life.

The theme for the 2020-2021 program year is I Matter Because.... Students submit their completed works of art in one or all of the available arts categories: Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, Visual Arts.
