Band Banquet

High School Commons

Dear Parents and Students,


I would like to invite you to the 2015-2016 Marching Band Banquet. This event will be held on May 5th, 2016 beginning at 6:00 p.m in the High School Commons. Parents and students are invited to this event as we celebrate another successful year with the Winfield Band Program.


The dinner will be a potluck. Our theme for the night is Cinco de Mayo, with the main course being a taco bar. The meat and table ware will be provided by the Winfield Band Boosters. We ask that each student bring an item to the potluck to help fill the taco bar. Clarinets will be responsible for bringing shredded cheese and veggies for tacos. Percussion section is responsible for chips and taco shells. Brass section will be responsible for drinks. Saxophones will be responsible for salsa and other dips for tacos. And flutes will be responsible for deserts. Following our dinner, we will be presenting marching band awards. Please inform me on exactly what you will be bringing by Tuesday May 3rd so we can plan accordingly thank you. We look forward to seeing everyone at the banquet.

High School Gym

Last concert of the year. Will hand out awards for outstanding musicians and members of the Winfield Band Program. Dress is concert black. Students should arrive by 6:00 pm to warm up. Jazz band members will need to stay and help after school to set up and do a sound check.

All band members are required to perform for graduation. They will perform before and after the ceremony.
