FROM THE DESK OF MR. FRAY
Happy New Year!
I hope all of our Grand Blanc High School family was able to relax, refresh, and recharge over the recent winter break. While the break serves as the unofficial halfway point of the school year, our high school students are quickly approaching the true half way point of semester exams. Over the course of the next two weeks it is crucial that students are prioritizing a strong finish to their semester course work and preparing to perform at their best on the exams. Our upcoming Bobcat Time on January 11 will focus on best practices for studying for exams and we encourage all families to discuss this topic at home prior to the exam days on January 18, 19, and 20. As a reminder, high school students permanent academic record is based on grades and credits earned at the end of each semester. If you have any concerns regarding a specific course please contact the teacher.
PLEASE NOTE: All semester exams are in-person on the scheduled exam days and the expectation is that ALL students complete their exam during the scheduled time. Exceptions will only be considered for extenuating circumstances that receive prior approval from school counselors or administration.
Thank you in advance for the support and encouragement you will provide your student during this time. I am confident with proper preparation they will find success!
Happy New Year and Go Bobcats!

Student Attendance Reminder
- Parent/Guardian must call in first to check the student out.
- The student then checks in with the office to get an exit pass prior to leaving.
Students have been leaving the building during the day and parents are calling in at a later time to excuse the absence. If an emergency were to take place in the building, we must be able to account for every student currently believed to be present. For those safety reasons, we will NOT retroactively excuse the attendance of any student that leaves the building without following the proper procedure.
