Schedule Changes - Be Patient

Many of you will have schedule changes upon your return to Akins. Those affected will be those that moved between bands and percussionists.

Percussionists - you will be in an ensemble class (Concert, Symphonic, Wind Symphony) on A Days and in a percussion only class on B Days.

Please be patient if your schedule isn't 100% correct on the first day. We will work with the counselors to make sure everyone is where they are supposed to be.

Region Band Clinic & Concert Rescheduled

The date for the TMEA Region Band Clinic and Concert has been set for the first weekend of January (Friday the 5th and Saturday the 6th). More details below!

Popcorn Fundraiser Begins Thursday, January 3rd

TMEA Area Auditions - Hosted by AEB on 1/13

All AEB students are required to be present at Akins on Saturday, January 13th at we host the TMEA Area Auditions.

The schedule will be very similar to when we hosted TMEA Region Auditions at the beginning of December. We have done a tremendous job hosting these events...one more to go!

More information will be coming soon!

Bring All Band Accounts Current ASAP

There is a significant amount of money that is currently owed on Band Fees.

Unpaid fees put a significant financial strain on the band program as a whole.

Please, please, please take a look at your CHARMS account to see what money is owed and settle your account balance this week.

Directors will be calling home to work out payments this week...we must settle all accounts ASAP!
