Join us at Camp Akita Memorial Day Weekend for the Word, fellowship, and fun!

Our speakers this year are Chester Clark III and Richie Halversen.


Purpose: A weekend to get away from the world and rekindle your relationship with God.


Target Audience: Anybody who is interested is welcome.


Activities: Evening and Morning worship, Open discussion with speakers, Children's programming, canoeing, campfire evenings (hobo pie!), hayride, and more!


Lodging: 6 shared 10 person cabin rooms, and 14 family cabins available on a first-come, first-served basis (families with children given priority).


Cost: $50 for adults, $30 for children under 14, all inclusive.

Chester Clark III

Pastor Chester V. Clark III, M.A. has broad experience in service, having worked as a teacher, pastor, and evangelist. His ministry has taken him to more than fifty countries on six continents! His passion is to share the love of Jesus and the truths so important for this time. His wife, Jane Yoon Clark, M.D. is board certified in Internal Medicine and has completed a clinical fellowship in Dermatology. She loves to share about health – especially preventative and lifestyle medicine – and wants everyone around her to be enjoying the most abundant, healthy life possible! He resides in Dalton, GA with his wife, Jane.

Richie Halversen

Pastor Richie counts it the greatest privilege to tell others about Jesus. He currently serves as pastor of the College Drive Seventh-day Church in Jackson MS, and recently planted a church in Clinton MS called The Ridge. He also serves as the Church Planting Director for the Gulf States Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. He has been married to his lovely wife Brittney for 17 years. Together they have had the privilege of raising their four children: Kaleb, Hayley, Tristen, and Taylor.
