Remembering Martin Luther King, Jr.
There is no school today, as our country pauses to remember Martin Luther King, Jr. including his words and legacy to remind us what is possible in life and how we should treat others.
School will reopen back in session tomorrow at our normal time.
The end of Quarter 2 is on Friday, January 27, 2023. Click the button below to access Faculty and Staff Extra Help Times to schedule a time to meet with a teacher to get some extra support!
We hope that the start to your New Year has been a healthy and happy one!

Student ID, Access ID , School lunch ID (and myschoolbucks ID): They are one and the same!
Parents and Guardians received a notification recently requesting updates to your Parent Portal account and the ID number was sent on that letter. This number will stay with your child for all school years.
BCSD Student Film Festival
The Foundation for Beacon Schools is launching our 2nd annual BCSD Student Film Festival and we have a few events and activities leading up to the festival in May that we'd love your help sharing with Rombout students. We had 7 amazing films submitted by Rombout students last year, and we'd love to see even more this year!
The first event to support this year's Film Festival is a kick-off party on Saturday January 28, 1-3 pm at DIA Beacon. It's free and open to all BCSD students. The event will feature videos to inspire students' next film project, snacks and drinks, a film directors' circle, filmmaking tips and tricks, and custom tours of a few DIA art installations just for our guests.
