Welcome Back
DISD Multilingual Broncos - August 2018
Thank you "Lee Conmigo" Volunteers
During the month of June bilingual teachers from Dayton ISD volunteered their time to read a bilingual story at the Jones Public Library each Wednesday. Lee conmigo, was inspired by the need of encouraging and empowering children to read over the summer. Children and their parents enjoyed bilingual stories, worked on a variety of craft activities, and had access to books over the summer. Many thanks to all the teachers that participated and to the Jones Public Library for a successful partnership with the Dayton ISD Bilingual/ESL Department.
