I hope you are enjoying a fabulous summer break! We are back on campus and preparing for a GREAT 19-20 school year full of exciting, memorable learning experiences for ALL.
Welcome new Creekview families! We know you will love Creekview as much as we do!
We are proud to continue our tradition of excellence as a Great Expectations Model School and a Texas Education Agency "A" rated school. We want to be the best elementary school in Texas, and with your support, I believe we can achieve it! With our talented and caring staff, our goal is that you and your family will have a positive learning experience at Creekview that creates fond memories of elementary school.

First Week of School Important Information
- Parents, feel free to walk your child to class the First DAY of School; additional parking at Lone Star College-Creekside.
- On the first days of school, please have your child travel to and from school following their normal routine to decrease uncertainty at dismissal time, and so that staff and students can establish effective and efficient procedures. Feel free to meet your child at school if they are riding the bus.
- Arrival times home from school will be delayed. Students and staff will be establishing procedures and take great care to ensure all students arrive home safely.
- Lunch visitors are welcome beginning August 26th. No lunch visitors please the first week as we practice our normal routines and procedures.

What's For Breakfast and Lunch?
- Breakfast is served from 8:10-8:25AM.
- Lunch is served mid-day. Classes are assigned a 30 minute lunch time between 10:15AM-12:40PM).
- SchoolCafe is an App that allows you to manage your child's school lunch account online
- Applications for Free/Reduced meals is online. Click HERE for details.

How Will Your Child Go Home? Dismissal Options at Creekview
Parent Pick Up *NEW OPTION*
- Mandatory K-2 who walk or bike home
- Parent, older sibling or babysitter meets student at back patio and escorts home
- Parents and babysitters must have name placard
- Placard may be picked up in the front office
First Days of School-Dismissal
First two weeks, dismissal will run slower than usual as teachers/bus drivers are learning your child's name, establishing routines and students are learning procedures.

Campus Kids
- Replacing YMCA for on-campus before/after school care.

- Hours 6:30 AM-6:30 PM
Car Riders
- VIDEO DEMONSTRATION
- Enter Car Rider Line off of New Harmony Trail. RIGHT TURN ONLY. Staff assists student into car.
- Ensure Car Rider placard is visible to staff.
- Vehicles merge to form a single dismissal line at the visitor parking exit.
- The single file line will begin at the cross walk at the front entrance; reserved spaces begin at flagpole.
- Emergency vehicles require access to enter and exit at all times.
- Twelve vehicles will be loaded and dismissed at a time .
Walker/Bikers
- Students in Grades 3-5 independently walks/bikes home.
- Students are monitored as they leave campus grounds.
- Crossing guard on duty at Wendtwoods and W. New Harmony
Bus Riders
Would you like to volunteer at Creeview?
If you are interested in volunteering or serving as a Watch Dog Dad on campus, please complete this online application. This must be completed EVERY year. We love our volunteers!
Celebrating Student Birthdays!
- RISE and SHINE: Daily all-school morning assembly
- CLASSROOM: Each teacher recognizes birthdays in a unique way; more info coming your way
- TREATS: Parents may bring/purchase a birthday treat for their child's class. Treats must be store bought; individually wrapped. Ice Cream is available through the cafeteria. Contact Mickie Schultz, Cafe Manager maureenschultz@tomballisd.net

Want to Come Visit?
Parents are welcome to visit Creekview and many opportunities are available. Check your email for upcoming events and please be mindful of the following:
All visitors must present their ID, sign in and wear a visitor badge when entering campus
- RISE and SHINE: Daily all-school morning assembly
- LUNCH: Parents may come eat lunch with their child. ( KDG, 2nd, 5th: ODD DATES; 1st, 4th, 3rd: EVEN DATES) No Lunch Visitors the 1st week of school please.
Special Lunch Visitor Tables/Chairs are designated in the Cafeteria.
What is Rise and Shine?
How is Rise and Shine changing this school year?
Instead of half of our student body reporting the GYM, they will report to their grade level pod where they will participate through live streaming.
Classes will alternate Rise and Shine locations every 9 week marking period between the grade level pod and the cafeteria.
