The Good News
Saint John XXIII April 5, 2021
He is Risen! Alleluia, Alleluia!
Easter Blessings to all our St. John Families! Our Easter Station will be celebrated this week with students!
Congratulations to Mrs. Boehm!
Good News to Share and Celebrate!
Our very own Mrs. Bonnie-Lynne Boehm is the Elk Island Catholic School Division recipient of the Council of Catholic School Superintendents Excellence in Catholic Education Award.
The criteria for this award is someone who:
Models Catholic values, foster the development of the whole child, motivates staff and students to exceed their full potential, works collaboratively with all stakeholders, demonstrates the knowledge of the integration of the Catholic Church teachings in all curriculum, achieves positives results in student learning and demonstrates care for the well-being of students and colleagues by “Seeing Christ in everyone”.
Mrs. Boehm is an inspiring educator who exemplifies Catholic values in her daily interaction with students, staff and families. She absolutely believes that every child is a gift from God, who is created purposefully and perfectly in His image. Under her leadership, our Catholic faith is interwoven throughout every aspect of the day to day happenings around the school. She makes extraordinary contributions to our school ensuring a quality education for all. Mrs. Boehm combines her passion for education with her abilities to lead, challenge, and support the dignity of an inclusive environment. She recognizes the strengths and gifts of others and provides opportunities for others to lead and shine.
Her faith is beautiful as she lives it daily with authenticity. Mrs. Boehm models what it truly means to be a servant leader and she does so with grace and humility. Her belief is that everyone just wants to be seen, heard and valued. She shows up for every single person she encounters with love and she does so with joy.
Please join us in congratulating Mrs. Boehm and celebrating this outstanding achievement! We ask for God’s blessings on her as she continues His holy work of leading young people and our St. John XXIII Catholic School community.
