Hello, Lighthouse Families,

I hope you were able to enjoy the long weekend. I am hopeful the weather will feel more spring-like soon. May is less than two weeks away. Maybe then we’ll have some warmer temperatures!

We wrap up Minnesota Comprehensive Assessments (MCAs) this week with make-up tests next week. Our students are looking forward to field trips to the Bakken Museum, Diary of a Wimpy Kid play, and the Young Author’s conference as well as the Lighthouse Talent Show. Parents are welcome to attend the talent show on the afternoon of May 12. Official time is to be determined.

As we approach the end of the school year, I hope our students remain focused on doing their best to accomplish their learning goals and continue having fun with their peers here at school! It brings me great pride to see all of the learning occurring here each and every day.

Let’s finish the school year strong!

With Gratitude,

Lisa Cisewski
