This week we will work on...
Writing: persuasive writing , supporting our opinions with details and evidence, word study review -er (more) ,-est (most), -er/-or (one who),
Math: Elapsed time; Perimeter and Area of "irregular" shapes
Science: Reducing hazards, avoiding accidents, preventing injuries; Fire safety and safety around poisons
Social Studies: cultures and celebrations from around the world
*Please check your child's planner nightly for additional assignments or important reminders.*
*Tuesday Night- Sign & return Tuesday folder, behavior card, and progress report
*If you haven't already, please return unwanted spring pictures and/or $ to pay for the ones you keep
Reading: Four reading response log entries due this Friday. See Edmodo post and/or homework spiral for questions and writing prompts.
Writing: No Homework!
Math: Homework Lesson 14-6 Elapsed Time pg.811-812 due Fri 5/1, try to get on FASTT Math 3 x's a week or study your math facts
Science: Create a fire safety plan for your home due Tues 5/5, bring your device Tuesday for Kahoot Review
Social Studies: None

May 1st- Field Day- Wear an orange shirt or your field day shirt, OPTIONAL: hat, sunglasses, apply sunscreen at home
