The Process
Beginning
This is what the engine looks like at the beginning of the rebuild. Everything is put together properly, bolted in place, and lays untouched. There are a few problems with it so let's take a look inside.
Exposed
Now I have taken the frame off of this bike and now have full accessibility to get to the bolts to take the engine aprt and fix it.
Power Core
This is the power core of the engine. Mine is in need of a few components so I changed out a few pieces here and there and then was able to put it together.
The Heart
This part of the engine is called the piston. The piston is essentially the heart of the engine. On this engine, the piston itself is in good condition, but what needs changing is the gasket and its surrounding bolts.
Putting It Back Together
After changing out the required parts, I can now put everything back together.
Finish
After putting everything back together and bolting it up, everything fit perfectly in place and it is now time to see if it starts up!
