Monday Morning Memo - Week 38
6/10/18 .....This is it!
Dear Poupard Staff,
Thank you to everyone that stopped by on Friday to see our Poupard and North Alumni. It was truly an incredible sight to see. These students are going on to their next chapter of life and have many of you to thank for the contributions you've made. They are the reason we teach!
The time is here. The time to finish strong! It will be an action packed week with many celebrations of student learning including a promotion of our 5th grade class, field trips and picnics. As you know, students will be feeling that summer fever, many already have been for a week or so. Our staff will continue to provide gentle reminders, encouragement, reinforcement and close supervision.
Teachers many of you have received your final evaluation from me over the last few days. If you haven't received yours, you will within a day or two. Please be sure to complete your portions (student progress, teacher reflections, and future goal setting) and notify me when you're done.
Looking ahead to our two half days at the end of the week; my expectation for Thursday is that our staff will work our usual contractual hours. Staff members may leave Friday by 12:00 as long as they have completed all of the items on the EOY checklist and submitted the list to the office before leaving for the summer.
Lastly, please shoot me an email if you would be interested in assisting with full committee interviews or mock lesson interviews for our three openings. I will be scheduling (18-20) screener interviews for early next week. Full committee interviews will be on either the 20th or 22nd. Mock lesson interviews will be held the 25th or 26th. Ventures interviews will be held shortly afterwards with final recommendations made by June 28th. Interested individuals should let me know which dates work best for them.
Let's do this!

Nuts and Bolts - Updated 4/15/18
- All staff should meet with Cindy to schedule their observation. You will be scheduling three dates (Pre-Observation, Observation, and Post-Observation).
- Dragon Dollars have been handed out. Please use these to acknowledge the positive behaviors you notice from our 4th and 5th graders. Please only hand out one at a time.
- Please remember to take your Walkie Talkie with you outside when you take your students outside for an extra recess. The office staff has had a tough time locating individual students at the end of the day and it can be especially challenging with one person.
