Vanderbilt
Vanderbilt (also known as Vandy) has ten different schools and colleges and the campus is quite large. They have a strong Greek presence with a prominent "Greek Row." They also have an excellent pre-med program and the Vanderbilt University Medical Center is close by.
Currently there is a lot of construction taking place on the outskirts of the campus - a project they call Future VU. The new construction includes expansion of the science and engineering facilities and expansion to the nursing program. They are also adding additional residential housing and green space.
Those interested in Vanderbilt may want to check out their blog (Vandy Bloggers) where they routinely post admissions advice.

The University of Memphis is a public research university set in an urban environment. The campus is large with about 17,000 students. This larger size allows for a wide range of majors to choose from.
