The Pitch Event
On October 11, the Career Center is hosting The Pitch, a brand-new networking competition modeled after NBCs The Voice! Student finalists will be selected to present their elevator pitch (a 45-60 second summary of your skills, qualities, values, etc.), and four employer judges will be ready to spin around in their chairs if they like what they hear!
Each finalist will have the chance to choose a judge to be their career coach, and receive additional career advice. A grand prize will also be awarded to the student with the best pitch!
After the competition, we will hold a networking reception with the judges and additional employers, so all students are invited to come out and support your friends and classmates, while gaining an added networking opportunity.
Please see the Save the Date card above, and stay tuned for more information on how to apply!
