We know that a lot of our younger friends have been working on their letters. Joe V (who works in a K classroom at Newman) suggests constructing letters out of things you find at home. Rocks, sticks, silverware; use your imagination to make letters and spell words. Send us a picture of words you've spelled out and we will include it in a future Daily Buzz!
Can you find something in your house that starts with every letter of the alphabet? Can you rename all of your stuffies with a new name from A-Z? Lots of opportunities for fun with words!
Jane (from our Newman school) thought that everyone might like to try this winter landscape project. We can't believe it snowed yesterday! There is also a link to one of her favorite websites for planning. She suggests the "how to draw" lessons in particular. Thank you, Jane!
