STARS Classroom News

January 5th - January 8th

What Happened Last Week!!

The last week we were in school we finished up our Christmas theme. Our anchor book was 5 Presents Under the Christmas Tree. We were able to label/identify the colors of the presents and we learned what was in each present. We learned how to sequence the story and what order the presents were opened.

Happy New Year

What Will Happen This Week

Welcome back!! This week we will start our new winter theme. Our book will be The Mitten. We will work on labeling/identifying the animals in the book. We will also work on sequencing the story.

Matt and Molly

Molly Makes a Snowman: Molly dresses the snowman with a mittens, scarf, and hat. Matt walks by and is cold. He gets an idea and puts on the mittens, scarf and hat to stay warm. We will be learning about the things we need to wear to keep warm when it's cold outside. We will be working on answering questions about the story.
