Mylan Park Elementary Newsletter

November 2022

Mrs. Lupo's Message

October brought so much fun to The Park! Students were able to collaborate and put their engineering skills to the test for our 3rd Annual Pumpkin Drop. Congratulations to all the classes for working together to construct an apparatus for their pumpkins! Also, special thanks to our partner City Neon for supporting this event for our future Engineers.

🎃Our Storybook Pumpkin Patch grew into the biggest it has ever been! We enjoyed seeing all the pumpkins. We hope you had fun as a family with this activity!

🍁Thank you to our PTO, community members and faculty/staff at Mylan for the AWESOME Fall Festival! We loved seeing our students trunk-or-treat and enjoy an evening with their friends and family.

💕Our hearts are big at The Park! We raised over $700.00 for the American Breast Cancer Association during our PINK OUT Day!

November is Kindness Month at The Park. Each day, we practice kindness towards each other at Mylan Park Elementary. When we make kindness a habit to others and ourselves we can experience positive mental and physical changes. Kindness is defined as the quality of being friendly, generous and considerate. It is the most important predictor of satisfaction and stability in friendships.

🍂Please ensure your student is dressed appropriately daily for outside play. Also, please clearly label all outerwear (hats, gloves, coat) with your student's name so that they may be returned if they are left behind.

📦We continue to collect Box Tops! This is an easy way for our school to raise money that will make a positive impact directly to our students at Mylan Park. The program is now completely on an App. No more tops to clip. Click here for more information.
