The Kirk Fenton Pro
Weekly newsletter for staff w/c 19th November 2018
Hello!
Well after all the feedback from last week's news letter, it seems that we have found the best way to communicate news for now anyway.
This week's is shorter as first, there is less to tell you this week and second, I forgot to bring the diary home with me! I will do the diary dates from memory as best I can and will update first thing on Monday and re-send - sorry!

Messages, information, reminders and notices This section will do exactly what it says on the tin! Please ensure that you read it weekly to ensure you don't miss out! | Diary Dates This will have everything that is happening in the following week in detail and dates coming up in the future. It is not a replacement for the diary in the office! | Positive Vibes This is all about the good things that we should be celebrating. Let me have any thank you's or well done's that you would like to make public and I will ensure that staff get the recognition they deserve. |

Messages, Information, reminders and notices
- Fruit for EYFS and KS1 - we seem to have a lot of fruit left over in the Inside Out Room. Is this because staff are forgetting to collect it or are the children not eating it? If so, why?
- Tea & Coffee - I think I caught most people last week regarding the tea fund. If you are yet to pay, please can you ensure that you bring your money to me by the end of this month please. £10 per term for a full timer, £8 for 4 days per week etc.
- Values - Please remember to refer to our school values of Respect, Perseverance, Thankfulness and Forgiveness as often as possible when talking to our children. It is important that we are consistent and our children understand what we expect.
- Staff Meeting Thursday 6th December - Martyn Sibley CEO is attending this meeting and has asked that as many staff as possible are there as he wishes to give out information about the MAT. Put it in your diaries!
- Staff Meeting Tuesday 27th November - This meeting will be at Saxton Primary and is on Dyslexia. Please could TA's let me know if they will be going as I need to give numbers to Saxton
- Data input for the Autumn term - The MAT has asked that all schools have their Autumn term data to them by 26th November so that means that we need to have Reading, Writing and Maths steps on Target Tracker by Friday 23rd November at the very latest please. I have a meeting with the CEO to discuss our data on Wednesday 28th November so need a few days to familiarise!
- Open Afternoon and Morning - These are for parents wanting a Reception place in September 2019. You do not have to do anything except be aware that parents will be coming into your classrooms throughout the afternoon (Weds) and morning (Thurs). The Year 6 team captains will be employed to show parents round in twos. Becca, I will catch up with you on Monday about this.
