Center Point

Center Point
City where there’s space all around, you can see everything from one point
Home of the peaceful, for the houses are far while the friends are close
Where the corn grows tall and the green grass waves to you in the wind
Land of the hard workers, we work sunup to sundown, waiting for tomorrow
Not very many people are around, because this isn’t a town,
People come and go as they drive by,
Away from maybe the best thing on earth without even knowing it.
Although there may be flaws in Center Point, there is also perfection.
Alice Road, a simple name to some but to me a home,
Not many people live on the road but the ones that do are more than neighbors;
Its nice to have a community that is close,
where you feel safe and at place.
Living on the farm;
Away from the rest of the world
Having a life where your dog really is your best friend
and the rooster cries in the morning to wake you up.
So living out here you just feel free.
City where there’s space all around, you can see everything from one point
Home of the peaceful, for the houses are far, while the friends are close
Where the corn grows tall and the green grass waves to you in the wind
Land of the workers, we work sun up to sundown, waiting for tomorrow.
