Manitou Springs High School

Mustang News - September 30th, 2022

From The Principal

It has been a truly INCREDIBLE Homecoming week! Students and staff have epitomized school spirit during our pep assemblies, dress up days, and all of our school events! We just finished a fantastic parade through downtown Manitou and are looking forward to tonight’s tailgate and football game as well as tomorrow’s dance. Thank you to the many staff members and students who have invested significant time and energy in this week’s festivities, in particular Cameron Jones (our Athletic & Activities Director), Angie Glass (our Athletics & Activities Administrative Assistant), and our two StuCo sponsors: Liz Tindall and Ingrid Perez. I am honored and overjoyed to be a part of this community. Go Mustangs!

P.S. I hope you all enjoyed the sirens on our police escort at the parade as much as I did!

October Count Day Coming Soon

Each year, all public school districts and facilities across the state of Colorado report the number of students who are actively enrolled and attending classes. There is now a window for capturing this enrollment information, but we wanted to let you know that this year's October Count Day is Monday, October 3. For us, student attendance matters each and every day.
