Message from Principal Loveland
We had a very productive week at Wamogo. First, all students in grades 9 and 10 took the PSAT on Wednesday. These results will help us to determine how much growth they have made from the fall to the spring, as well as how to best prepare them for the SAT next year. In addition to PSAT, our grade 11 students completed the SAT on Wednesday. We are so proud of all our students for working hard and doing their best on these assessments. We look forward to the results later this spring.
We also hosted The Myth of Persephone, a Grumbling Gryphons production on Thursday morning where all of our elementary students across the district participated in the performance. It was a pleasure to have all students in the district at Wamogo at one time.
Lastly, Wamogo United focused on the unhealthy addiction our students have with phones, computers, video games, and other technology. They viewed the educational film Screenagers. This initiative was sponsored by the Warren, Morris, Goshen Prevention Council. Wamogo United teachers facilitated a reflection with students about the film so that they could discuss their key takeaways.
We are looking forward to another busy couple weeks until spring break.
Have a wonderful weekend and enjoy the spring weather!
Sincerely,
Sabin Loveland
Principal
