Student Screeners

We are asking that students go through the screener every morning prior to coming to school. We appreciate your assistance with this as we continue to do our part to make sure all students and staff are healthy. The link to the screener is below.

Student Screener

Progress Checks:

Parents and students, we are entering the last 3 weeks of the 3rd quarter. Please take a few minutes and review your student’s progress. The end of quarter 3 will be on March 11th. As always, if you would like to schedule a parent-teacher conference, please contact us at 352-524-5539.

Course Cards:

Attention current 9th, 10th, and 11th grade parents, we have completed the course card registration process for 22-23 school year. If your student missed course card registration, your student will have to make an individual appointment with their counselor.

ESD/Night School

If your student signed up for ESD, please remember that this program meets on Monday's, Tuesday's, and Wednesday's from 1:45-3:45pm.

If your student signed up to be a part of night school, please remember that this program meets on Monday's and Wednesday's after school from 2:30-4:30pm.

Parents and Students, I would like to remind you that leaving campus during the school day is against school board policy. Students that have class off campus either through online instruction or at PHSC is the only excusable reason to leave campus. Additionally, being in the parking lot during the school day is also NEVER allowed. Please make sure that if you are signing out of school for an appointment or signing back in, to do so through the front office. This is the way to ensure your absences are excused and you are following the correct procedures. Students, again, the dress code is in effect at all times. Please review the dress code and make sure outfits meet the dress code. Lastly, if you need to check-out your student, please make sure to do this prior to 1:30pm. All check-outs after 1:30pm will have to wait until the close of the school day at 2:00pm.

Early Release Day:

The next scheduled early release day for the students is Wednesday, March 9th. Students will be released at 11:45am.

Pasco County Fair:

Please note that the Pasco County Fair will occur during the week of February 21st – 27th. Traffic at school will be affected during this time.

Spring Break:

Pasco County Spring Break 2022 will be March 14th – 18th.

Mark your calendar for the SAT School Day! All juniors will have the opportunity to take the SAT on March 2, 2022 during the regular school day, at no cost to students. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Boise.

Dress Code

Please make sure that your student has reviewed the dress code on the district website within the Student Code of Conduct and ensures their outfits meet the criteria. Many concerns this week were with Crop tops and tears in the jeans above the 4inch mark. Please understand these are prohibited. The information within the Code of Conduct will give you the exact information in more detail. Students not meeting dress code criteria will be asked to change and possibly call home if necessary.
