Note from the Principal

Hello NES Families,

Pretty normal 5-day week ahead. Routines are getting a bit smoother, students are happy in classrooms and learning a lot. And... the fall colds are starting to emerge as well. Thank you for keeping your kids home when they are sick and contacting the school if you have any questions.

Let's have a wonderful week!

Student Safety at Dismissal

Please drive slowly along Breckenridge Rd. and around the parent pick-up loop during drop-off and pick-up. Speed is 20mph in school zones. Let's keep our students safe and watch for bikers and walkers. Thank you!

Staff Appreciation Baskets (Thank you, "Families for Nooksack"!)

Every Early Release Day, a parent from our NES community is donating an appreciation basket. Our 5th grade leaders draw a staff name at random, announce the winner, and then personally deliver the basket. Last week was Mrs. Sharon Missiaen, our school phycologist. If you have ever worked with Sharon, you know how much she deserves to be appreciated! Thank you, families! She was thrilled!
