Kirk Fenton News
14th December 2018
Dear Parents / Carers,
This week has been very busy as both Key Stage One and Two have been practising for their performances next week. The school has been full of beautiful singing and the glitter is now fully ingrained in the carpets for another year. Christmas jumper day for Save the Children has given us a good reason to stop, think and be grateful for all that we have and to really consider the true meaning of Christmas.
Our work with the other Academy schools is starting to take shape and from Monday school will have a new email address. If you need to contact the office please use admin@kf.starmat.uk
Have a lovely weekend,
Mrs Karen Williams

Christmas at St Mary's
Dear Everyone,
We are sending you this letter from St. Mary’s to invite you to all of our Christmas celebrations and to invite all of the children in school to be part of a choir that will perform at our Contemporary Carol Service on Sunday 23rd December at 7.00pm. See over the page for details of all of our Christmas services.
Choir
This year, we would like to set up a choir, made up of children from school. At most of our Christmas services, we will be singing Angels Singing Glory in the Highest, a brilliant modern carol. As many of our congregation won’t know the carol, any children who attend any services can help to lead the singing. At the Contemporary Carol Service on Sunday 23rd December at 7.00pm, the choir will perform the carol.
The choir is open to any child who would like to perform and who is available to come to the Contemporary Carol Service. It will be necessary for an adult to attend the Carol Service and be responsible for their child as we will not be able to supervise them. All rehearsals will take place during the school day.
If your child would like to be in the choir, please either sign up on the sheet at the school office or e-mail revsimonbiddlestone@hotmail.com (making sure you say your child’s name and the class they’re in).
Everyone at St. Mary’s is looking forward to seeing you over the Christmas period and we are excited to hear the choir singing.
God bless,
Rev Simon Biddlestone
