Panther Post
Serve, Lead & Inspire
Hello Panther Parents and Guardians,
I hope you have had a good week. I know I have. The hundreds of smiles I get from the kids is hard to beat. I recently spent the morning with all of the principals in the Reagan cluster. We meet monthly with the intent of providing the smoothest and most successful path through school from kindergarten to high school graduation. I am glad to be in a group whose focus is truly on the kids.
Our band and orchestra performed at the Spurs game and wow did they impress. It even got the attention of the announcers. Check out the link below (sorry for quality) and hear what they said about our kids. I am very proud of them!
Want to see our kids do great? Check out what is coming up below and come be amazed like I am every week.

Photos Requested to Showcase How Lopez Students Sharpen the Saw
We bid you a joyous and festive holiday season. Our community is comprised of hard working, highly devoted people. While we work hard, we also take time to reward ourselves (Sharpen the Saw). As you gather with family and friends to celebrate the holidays, please share your experiences by sending family photos of events and vacations to Lopez Middle School.
Please share your photos by e-mailing them to Mr. Toback at ftobac@neisd.net or bring developed pictures to Lopez Middle School (Room A205). The pictures can be grayscale or color. They will be displayed in our Sharpen the Saw display inside the school for all to enjoy.
Lopez Holiday Toy Drive
Here’s your challenge!!! Last year, Johnson High School won the trophy by collecting just under 1,000 toys. This year the trophy is on the line! If Johnson can't maintain their title, the trophy will move to the new highest collector of toys.
The Toy Drive Ends on Wednesday, December 2nd.
Lopez will be collecting NEW Toys (for any age-range), Gift Cards and NEW Jackets for middle and high school students, as part of the Stone Oak Winter Celebration. Your generous donation will be given to a child who is currently in foster care. We want to make sure all of these children have a gift to open on Christmas morning.
Every student who makes a donation will receive a free photo with Santa, a Free Ride ticket & a Free General Prize Drawing ticket to be used at the Winter Celebration on Dec. 5, 2015 at North Central Baptist Hospital.
Please deliver your donated items to Mrs. Jenke in the Library.
There are over 9,000 children in the care of the Department of Family and Protective Services. Most of these children have been removed from their home and are currently residing in foster care, often unable to see their parents or siblings. We want to make sure these children have a gift to open on Christmas morning, and we need your help again this year to make that happen.
Thank you for opening up your hearts this holiday season and making a donation to help a child in need.
Parents of Future Reagan Baseball and Softball Players,
We are asking you to join the parents of the current Reagan baseball and softball players at a special meeting on Monday November 30th, at approximately 7:00 PM (will start ASAP following conclusion of presentation to Diamondbacker Board) in the Reagan Library to see the plans for the Reagan Baseball/Softball covered hitting facility and hear what remains to be done to make it a reality and how YOU can be involved.
The proposal has been approved by NEISD and we are expecting to get started with the construction in the very near future. This will be a game changer for Reagan baseball and softball - current and future athletes. If you know of someone who should have this information, PLEASE feel free to forward it to them. We hope to see you there!
Thank You,
Reagan Baseball / Softball
