Registration information

How to enroll your child with David Douglas:

David Douglas School District uses Online Registration for enrolling new students into the district. Online Registration is available in English, Spanish, Russian, Vietnamese, and Simplified Chinese. When you get to the Online Registration system, the language options will show in the bottom right corner. Just click on your preferred language, if it is available.

We are currently accepting Online Registrations for the 2021-22 and 2022-23 school years.

Online Registration is a much more efficient and more accurate method than filling out lengthy paper forms. Parents can use either their home computer or a computer at one of our schools to complete Online Registration. All new students can be enrolled with one Online Registration, rather than filling out multiple repetitive paper forms. You must live within the David Douglas School District boundary to use Online Registration.

Parents unable to use Online Registration will need to complete the full registration form for each student. Registration forms can be obtained here at Lincoln Park, or by clicking the Alternate Registration button below.

You will need access to a laptop or desktop computer to register online. There are laptops available in each school office for your use if needed.

You will need a valid email account for Online Registration. If you don’t have one, you can get a free Gmail account here.

Kindergarten Registration Steps:

Any child who will be five (5) years of age on or before September 1 is eligible to enroll for Kindergarten at their designated home school.

Kindergarten registration is completed online. After the online application has been submitted you should contact our main office. If you register online, you can also upload your child’s certificate of immunization, birth certificate, and proof of address, or bring them to the school.

5th Grade Families:

Your student's neighborhood middle school is based on the address the school currently has on file for your family. If you have recently moved, please provide the school with an updated address. Should you be planning for your child to attend a different middle school than your neighborhood school, please connect with Hannah Snyder, our school counselor: hannah_snyder@ddsd40.org,

(503) 256-6504ext 4515 or text (971) 277-5179

During the next two months, students will be learning more about middle school as they get ready for 6th grade.

Middle School visits:

RESOURCE CENTER

Free COVID-19 Testing kits available!

As schools and families adjust to changes to COVID-19 protocols, OHA, ODE and DDSD remain committed to school safety. In the coming weeks, OHA in collaboration with ODE is sending iHealth antigen self-tests to all Title I schools to be sent home with students. In David Douglas, this is all our elementary and middle schools. These tests represent one strategy to increase access to testing resources in our school communities. Students and their families are encouraged to use these tests if they develop symptoms consistent with COVID-19 or who have had a known exposure to COVID-19. If you are interested in getting a kit for your student please call our main office for pick-up information.

Family Request for support

Please fill out this form if you need support for your student or your family. We cannot guarantee that we have the resources to meet your needs, but we will do the best we can! If you have a question about something relating to your student or the school but you don't know who to ask, please use this form and we will get your question to the right person!
