Churches in Mission -- Winter 2022
2021 Community Impacts
Throughout 2021, Morgan County families in need were able to count on Churches in Mission to assist with basic needs as well as provide educational opportunities. With all assistance categories included, 1,578 households with 5,225 family members received 8,597 acts of assistance through Churches in Mission in 2021.
We took a look at the data and noticed that, compared to the height of the pandemic in 2020, our number of families served decreased but the depth of need in various areas increased.
Our programs to provide food, clothing, household essentials, rent and utility assistance continued, while our ability to provide important educational opportunities expanded in 2021.

Filling Pantry Needs We are always grateful to receive food and hygiene items for our pantry. Items needed most at this time include: ravioli or canned pasta, beef stew, toilet paper, diapers in sizes 5 & 6, and shampoo. | Giving Made Easy If you shop through Amazon, your purchases can benefit Churches in Mission. Just visit smile.amazon.com and designate Churches in Mission Mooresville as your charity of choice. A percentage of each sale will benefit the Mission's work throughout Morgan County. | Volunteers Needed We're always looking for volunteers to help sort donations, prepare food orders, assist with classes, and more. Stop by either of our locations or contact us to learn more about how you, your family, or your group can help. |
