Qualifications and Job Expectations of Congressmen
To be a Congressmen, you have to be at least thirty years old, a citizen of the United States for nine years, and must live in the state they are representing.
Meeting Times of Congress
The Constitution meets at least once a year. And that meeting should be on the first Monday in December, unless they choose a different day by law.
Powers Granted to Them
They have the power to lay and collect taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises; but all Duties, Imposts and Excises should be uniform throughout the United States. To pay the Debts and provide for the common defense and general welfare of the United States. Can borrow money on the credit of the United States.
Rules of Congress
Each House can determine the Rules of its procedures, punish it's members, and occasionally expel a member.
How a Bill Becomes a Law
Has to be passed by the Senate, both Houses, and the President.
