WHS Career: Grow Your Own Future
On September 25th we are offering a Career Fair for our students. If you or someone you know is interested in connecting your career with students please click the link below and complete the form or email heather_fix@beaverton.k12.or.us.
The event is designed to connect students with the skills they will need to succeed in the New Economy/Workforce. Understanding these skills will help them to make informed decisions about which high school courses will best support their growth. We want to help students better understand apprenticeships, careers where certificates can set the stage for success, 2-year degrees and 4-year degrees. We need industry to help students see these skills in action through hands-on activities, and by viewing entry-level job announcements and the skills needed to be highly qualified to enter into various careers.
ASPIRE
Volunteers play a vital role in the number of ways we can support students at Westview High School and add great value and depth to our community.
We'd like to invite you to an information session highlighting our college and career mentoring program, ASPIRE, Thursday, September 6th, 9:30-10:30 am in the College and Career Center. Please come to find out how this program helps students form their post-high school plan and what your role would be in walking beside students during this process.
PARENTVUE ACCESS
If you have an active ParentVue account, enrollment verification needs to be updated every year. Please be sure you have verified your student's enrollment (any changes in phone number, email address, emergency contact info, etc). Also, if you have an active Online Payment account through ParentVue, you can pay past fees, purchase a yearbook, purchase an ASB sticker, or pay Chromebook insurance from home (see school website for link to the payment system). If you haven’t activated your ParentVue account, the District sent out information about how to do this in early August. You can call Westview if you need assistance. If you need help accessing the payment system, please contact the school. You can also read additional information at the following link: Online Payment
