Farming Villages on Estates
Europeans learning how to farm/ making technology to make it easier
- The Europeans made the iron plow that could plow through the dense clay soil they had for their crops.
- To pull the heavy iron they made horse collars so that horses could pull it faster, so the peasants could plant more crops midseason.
They learned how to make power from water and wind, but they only used the windmills when rivers weren't available
They Used it for chopping wood pumping water and grinding brain into flour
•Europeans Learned to rotate the crops in an easier way by having three fields and leaving one unplanted , this way more crops can be planted and let populations expand, because of more food.
•In the spring the woman planted peas beans wheat and barley crops.
