Direct Democracy
Where all citizens get there say.
Fundamental Parts of Direct Democracy
Direct Democracy is a type of Government in which all citizens get their say in all Government matters. In all major government decisions, the voice of the people will be heard!!! In Direct Democracy, all people get the right to voice their opinion. At the end of the day when all of the votes are tallied up, majority rule wins the day. Living under this type of government wouldn't be my ideal life. It takes a smart person to cast a well thought out vote, and sadly, that number of people is diminishing. I wouldn't like the hassle of having to vote every other week or so on a specific topic. Thinking out a responsible decision takes time. There are some upsides to Direct Democracy. Instead of shady deals that politicians make in Representative Democracy, the people get to voice their own opinion and not have someone else do it for them. Also, instead of politicians doing what is best for them, the people do what is best out of common sense and good will.
