Brad is a local activist who is going to speak about the Ukrainians and the fund he created to help them.
June 12 - Anne McCrady - "Living Our Truths - A Covenant With Ourselves"
How being true to what our hearts hold holy is the essence of a spiritual life.
June 19 - Jacqueline Novogratz - "What It Takes To Make Change"
What can you do to build a better world? Three principles to spark and sustain a moral revolution.
Our doors open at 10:30 a.m. on Sundays before the service begins. Come early for a cup of coffee or tea and get to know us. All are welcome.
Potluck lunch this Sunday!
UUFL to host garage sale in June
Items we need include lightly used and clean:
- Home goods
- Bedding linens, blankets
- Bathroom goods
- A clothes rack and hanging clothes (shirts, blouses, pants, etc.)
- Decorative items

Upcoming Pride Events in June
UUFL is supporting two Pride events in June:
- Saturday, June 4 at Teague Park in Longview from 4 - 8 p.m. hosted by Live Out Loud. Includes family activities, games, vendors, giveaways and food trucks. More info: (1) LIVE OUT LOUD - Longview | Facebook

UUFL will have a table at each event with a game, prizes and info about UUFL. We will need volunteers to help man the tables. Those interested in volunteering should contact Barbara McDaniel by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at 903-720-2957.
Unitarian Universalist Service Committe to host virtual screening on human rights leadership
Please join us for a special re-screening of UUSC’s virtual Human Rights Leadership Celebration on Thursday, June 9, 2022, at 7:00 PM ET / 6:00 PM CT.
The evening will feature a keynote presentation from Isabel Wilkerson, winner of the Pulitzer Prize and the National Humanities Medal, and author of the critically acclaimed New York Times bestsellers The Warmth of Other Suns and Caste: The Origins of Our Discontents.
